How can you help keep history alive?
The Historical Outreach Foundation has four intertwined yet distinct missions:

1.  Education Outreach - going out to schools and organizations to teach history.

2.  Oregon Military Museum - money is needed to open and then maintain the museum to make it a regional attraction to teach Oregon's Military History. Check out their website at www.oregonmilitarymuseum.org

3.  Documentaries - The first documentary will be about the 41st Infantry Division, considered the best National Guard Infantry Division in the U.S. so was mobilized in September 1940 over a year before the attack at Pearl Harbor.  After Pearl Harbor they were sent to the Pacific where they fought through New Guinea, the Philippines and onto occupation duty in Japan. Contribute to the 41st documentary today using the above donation button or mail a donation to HOF, 2253 NE 164th Ave., Portland, OR 97230

4.  Collection of visual information from veterans of all eras to be placed on a website that teachers and students will have access to so that they can research for documentaries and reports.
